“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.”- Job 19:25

Sanctified Surfers, Peace!
Well I hope you enjoyed the Youth Convention and Special Speakers! G-d is good to us here at Emmanuel Temple...
Well, May is almost here and more fun things are coming up like weddings, Mother's Day and graduations... so don't forget your mother's special day. Buy her that special gift early and make those reservations to take her out to dinner. Whether or not you had a good mama (or a naughty one) - it will do you good to make her day a memorable one. If your mom has passed on and your heart still misses her - just remind yourself that she's presently with Jesus. Allow yourself to shed a few tears, dry your eyes and then remind yourself of her goodness and how she impacted your life and is a reflection of what YOU are today.

Sanctified Surfers... Peace!
Today is Tax Day in the USA. Thank G-d, we have a couple of days to obey the law of the land concerning taxes:
This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”
Romans 13:6-7

Sanctified Surfers,
This week leads up to Easter Sunday and is referred to, by some, as "Passion Week." The term has been made popular again due to Mel Gibson's motion picture depicting Christ's crucifixion.

Did you know it isn't a good idea to refer to the week before Resurrection Sunday as "Passion Week"? The term refers to the "Passion Plays" where Christendom, historically, would encourage the re-enactment of the crucifixion of Christ. Some worked themselves into a frenzy (a synonym for passion) and then proceed to kill a few vulnerable Jews. (They blamed the Jews for Jesus' death.) The "Passion Play" re-enactors had not read the bible which instructs us to kill our PASSIONS... (see below). Passion amounts to idolatry.

Whitby movers, Markham movers . No black jack cheat can be found who would feel himself guilty for what he does.

Colossians 3:5
Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
Galatians 5:24
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
1 Thessalonians 4:5
not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God;...
Titus 3:3
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
1 John 3:16
Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us...

Jesus and His disciples were Jews who celebrated Passover. Christendom refers to the act of Jesus celebrating Passover - as Jesus and His disciples having the Last Supper. Jesus celebrated Passover, which was His last meal, and He became the Passover Lamb for us. The Word of G-d, doesn't refer to Jesus' crucifixion and Resurrection as "the Passion." Jesus laid down His life freely for us because He loved us. He became a sacrifice for us. He is the Paschal Lamb who allowed Himself to be slaughtered (crucified). He died a brutal death, for you and me.
The good news is that He rose again on Resurrection Day! He conqered death and the grave..!
