HAWAII DISTRICT COUNCIL IN WAIKIKI
The church pictured above is Christ Temple
Community Church in Ewa Beach, Oahu.
When our group arrived at Christ Temple the brethren greeted us
with "Aloha! Praise the Lord!" and they presented us with
leis, Hawaiian style. We felt at home with Elder John Hammond, Pastor.
There are quite a few Apostolic military families, from the mainland,
based in Hawaii. We also met Hawaiians who are saved and are part
of the Apostolic community... God is moving, even in this beautiful
tropical paradise.
As I enjoyed our flight from LAX,
the beautiful beaches and flora and fauna of Hawaii met my eyes---
in the company of other Jesus Only people, I couldn't
help but remember what scripture says regarding God's blessings.
He allowed me to enjoy my vacation with my teenage son to one of
the most beautiful places on earth... In these times divorced single
moms aren't supposed to enjoy such luxuries, but the God I serve
is bigger than any divorce statistic.
Since I've made Jesus my choice
I rest assured knowing He cares for my son and I.
Deuteronomy 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee,
and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD
thy God.
Psalms 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in
thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Praise His Most Holy and Awesome Name, Jesus!
