Peace Unto You... I came across this site as I was online filling
out an application for http://www.ChristianityToday.com to be an online
volunteer. It asked me to described my spiritual journey. That spiritual
journey started at Emmanuel Temple in Lynwood, when I was junior high
school. It was a great discovery find this website and to see pictures
of the pastor and his lovely wife. Very few people that have been attending
Emmanuel Temple since the early 80s' may not remember me. My foster
mother, Elaine Bridge and her mother Rose Bridges attended church there
along with me and my foster sisters. I remember graduating from high
school and receiving a scholarship from the Emmanuel Temple. I attended
church services 2+ times a week. I very much enjoyed communion services
and the washing of feet ceremony. I not heard of any churches that still
practice this. I have been a person who keeps mostly to herself since
I was a teenager. I have no solid or something that I can point to in
my life for this. I just wanted to drop by and say, "Hello" to my extended
