Bishop
Carl W. Stewart has
pastored the congregation of Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church
in Lynwood, California for the past thirty-five years. During
which time
Bishop Stewart raised a family, built
a magnificent house of worship, became District Elder ...then
Suffragan Bishop, while still helping and counseling others.
He was awarded his Doctorate of Divinity by Aenon Bible College.
He was appointed Diocesan
of the State of Hawaii by the Pentecostal Assemblies of
the World in 1998.
What sets Bishop Stewart apart from all other pastors
is that he isn't a modern pastor, in any sense of the word,
but is from the "old school" in his approach to the
pastoral ministry. His time-tested methodology is distinctly
his and we admire and support him in his uniqueness and radical
devotion and faith in God.
Under his leadership, we, at Emmanuel Temple will be celebrating
our 35th Anniversary and we will have a glorious time! Many
visiting Churches, their respective Pastors, Church Dignitaries,
Elders and Evangelists will be honoring Bishop Stewart and Dr.
Janet M. Stewart with their presence in praising Our Savior
Jesus Christ for the ongoing and successful work...
We appreciate him and his wife, and their old-fashioned Godly
instruction because in this day and age we learn to distinguish
the Holy and profane through personal example.
You
are cordially invited to join us September 11 through 17, 2000.
